I know that Halloween is not for another few months, but to me and my family, it always seems to come too soon, too abruptly! So, there is never enough time to come up with a cool costume, no matter how many months you have for preparation. Especially if you are a Halloween enthusiast and are always looking for a fun night out. Finding the perfect outfit is key!

Halloween Costume #1. Sabrina Carpenter
Why not start with the one and only Sabrina Carpenter? Dressing up as her for Halloween would be great, and the best part is you’ve got so many options! One of the best looks to recreate is her super chic vibe from the “Feather” music video. All you need is a cute, sparkly pink or red minidress and a fluffy white boa to drape around your shoulders. Throw on some platform heels, and you’re halfway there! Finish the look with a high ponytail and some bold, retro makeup – think a sharp winged eyeliner and a glossy lip.

Halloween Costume #2. Billie Eilish
If you like contrast, then you have to pick Billie Eilish as your Halloween inspiration. The era doesn’t matter much; go with your inner vibe (and with what you already have at your disposal). Her older style is unique and comfortable.
The easiest way to pull this off is with an oversized graphic T-shirt or a baggy hoodie, paired with some loose shorts and chunky sneakers. You could also channel her “Bad Guy” video with a yellow hoodie and matching shorts, plus a cool pair of sunglasses. Although something from recent years would be more iconic. I still remember the awe her fans were in after the iconic British Vogue photoshoot.

Halloween Costume #3. Beetlejuice
Ready to get spooky and iconic? A Beetlejuice costume is a Halloween classic for a reason. You’ll need that unmistakable black and white striped suit and a white button-up shirt. The key to this costume is the makeup, though! You’ll need a pale face with dark circles under your eyes, plus some green and purple shading to get that ghostly, crazy look just right. Top it off with a wild, messy green wig, and you’re ready to cause some mischief. It’s a timeless choice that’s both fun and a little bit creepy.

Halloween Costume #4. Labubu
Try going to a Halloween party dressed up as Labubu! This one is for anyone who loves art toys and quirky characters. Grab a gray or white jumpsuit to mimic the toy’s fuzzy texture. Add some pointy ears to a headband and a tiny red scarf. The most important part is the face – you’ll need to create Labubu’s signature mischievous, wide smile with some face paint. This is a cool, conversation-starting costume that’s perfect for showing off your fun side.

Halloween Costume #5. Wicked
The only thing left to decide is what kind of vibe you want to capture: a vintage one from the original movie, The Wizard of Oz, or the one with Ari and Cynthia. The choice is all yours!

Halloween Costume #6. Barbie

Halloween Costume #7. M3GAN
Have you seen the new M3GAN 2.0 yet? A Halloween costume inspired by the AI would be a wonderful, even satirical option for a trendy and spooky look. To pull this off, you’ll need a beige or tan dress with a puffy skirt, a striped long-sleeve shirt underneath, and a red bow tie. Of course, as with most costumes, the key to the look lies in the right hairstyle and makeup. Put your hair in two high pigtails and a part in the middle. For makeup, go for a simple, doll-like look with large, wide eyes and a subtle smile to capture M3GAN’s eerie vibe. To put a final accent on the look, wear white tights and black patent leather Mary Jane shoes.

Halloween Costume #8. Snow White
The story of this girl is a timeless trend, and with the brand new live-action, it got a new wave of popularity. Of course, the legendary short bob, white and yellow dress, and a red ribbon in the hair can be reimagined for Halloween, maybe with some creepier accents? For makeup, opt for a natural, rosy-cheeked look with a pop of bright red lipstick. This costume is a timeless choice that’s perfect for anyone who wants to be a classic Disney princess for the night.

Halloween Costume #9. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Not only movies, but video games are a fantastic source of inspiration. For a standout costume that shows you’re a serious gamer, look no further than Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The game’s distinctive aesthetic and character looks offer some seriously great cosplay opportunities! You could dress up as Gustave, the protagonist, with his long black trench coat, purple vest, and a mechanical arm. To really make the costume stand out, add some details like his gloves and a scythe.
Another great option is Lune, the pathfinder and mage of the group. Her outfit often includes a stylish jacket or vest with intricate details, making it a great project for those who love to craft.
